Open the group and choose Share group
Open the group in the Facebook app, tap ⋯ at the top right and choose Share group. For a profile or a Page, tap the Share arrow at the top instead.

In the menu that opens, tap Copy link. In a browser, copy the address from the bar instead — facebook.com/groups/… or facebook.com/username. For a profile, the username on its own works too.

Groups have a cover photo too, and a public group shows it to anybody. Paste the group’s link — facebook.com/groups/ followed by its name or number — and the cover is offered whole, in the size it was uploaded in. A group has no profile picture, so its cover is the one picture on the card.
This works for public groups. A group that Facebook shows only to its members, or only to people who are logged in, cannot be read, because this site never logs in.
Facebook Cover Photo and Profile Picture Together
On a profile or a Page, the card shows both pictures the way Facebook draws them — the cover across the top, the profile picture over its corner — each with its own size and Download button. A press on either opens it full screen, where you can zoom in and see the whole cover, uncropped.
A locked profile shows visitors who are not logged in only a smaller copy of its cover photo; the full size is for its friends. That copy is what can be saved, and the card says it is the smaller version.

Can I download a cover photo from a locked profile?
Only a smaller copy. A locked profile shows its cover photo in full size only to its friends and a smaller copy to everyone else. This site never logs in to Facebook, so it sees what any visitor sees — and the card says when the cover is the smaller copy.
